random ramblings

Hello world.

Havent been in contact with the real world for a long time.
Been at the library.from morning till night,weekdays and weekends.
Just did all my midterms,i say all because i have 8 midterms.
The professors think its nice to have two midterms in a semester,which is only 3 months long.

Now i have my assignments to worry about.One after another,Sometimes all together.
Finals is in 2 weeks.will be camping in the library again.The library is open 24 hours during exam period.so i wasnt exaggerating when i said camp.People actually bring blankets and coffee mugs and toothbrush to the library.The power of The curve.The famous,(or infamous in hku) normal curve. The curve,i suspect, is the main ,if not only,force driving students to work hard.i wonder if other universities use the normal curve in grading as well.

I am happy.despite all the crazy hours and workload and unbelievably low grades,i am happy.
i have finally settled down,mentally, i guess?

It's so cold now.temparature plunged suddenly.i woke up at 5am yesterday,freezing, and decided that its not too soon to start using my heater after all.my liquid facial cleanser became half solid.made in malaysia, the company probably didnt think it was neccessary to test the product under cold temperatures.

Have to force myself to start the gruesome process of applying for internship.sometimes i just want to be lazy and do my internship in malaysia.but then being able to work in hk was one of the reason i came to hku in the first place.so, i guess i just have to do it.after finals probably.

to elsie and mun, i am going back home after my finals in december and then take the same flight with you people to macau.
it was a decision between rm800 and a trip back home.in the end,i decided that the total utilities that i will gain is higher than the cost.

i guess that's all i have to ramble for today.gonna start work again!
blair and serena and meredith ,you will have to wait.
